Joyful - Deeply Passionate - Highly Sensitive - Intuitive - Creative
I am an accredited Clinical Hypnotherapist and Coach, business owner and researcher, with a calling to work in holistic therapies that began as a teenager.
My mum, Christine, was a highly sensitive empath, who was community focused, with an interest in holistic therapies and writing children’s stories. One of the most important gifts I feel my mum gave to me, was that she could really see people, sense who they are, and was deeply interested in others. It is how she made people feel, using this ability, that sparked my awareness of the positive influence harnessing this gift can offer others.
I moved to Australia in my early 20’s and became immersed in nature, many wonderful diverse ways of living, the joy of learning and conversations, natural therapies, and connection to the land and others; through a lifestyle of permaculture and community living.
-
I had the privilege of exploring and submerging myself in many opportunities for learning and growth. I started working at The Fountainhead Retreat as a body work therapist and this lead to training and work as a Journey Therapist, along with managing the treatment spa.
I was introduced to holistic hypnotherapy on a personal level and experienced the power of hypnotherapy as a tool for healing and growth. This motivated me to study integrative hypnotherapy in Brisbane before returning to New Zealand.
Upon relocating back to Nelson, I began working in the outdoors managing a guiding company, where I rediscovered the powerful medium for people to connect with themselves and others, through being present in, and connected to, nature. My guiding experiences alongside my work in holistic health gave rise to the creation of Wellness New Zealand, encompassing a nurturing clinic in Nelson and wellness retreats focused on healing in nature.
Affirmed by my own journey and experiences, my unique way of looking at life, and my strong desire to creatively help people and support their growth; I continued my training in coaching and hypnotherapy and began researching and developing unique, powerful tools and methods to effectively support my clients and transform their lives.

Charmen has been a therapist for over 20 years, graduated with a 2200 hour massage therapy diploma from Grant MacEwan College and a manual osteopath diploma from the National Manual Osteopathic College in Canada. The body has the amazing ability to heal itself naturally. Trauma, repetitive stress or emotional stress, for example, causes the body to dysfunction. As part of the healing process, the body will always migrate to function with most ease. However, this is how misalignment, shortened tissue and decreased range of motion evolve, often resulting in pain and discomfort that can be presented in a variety of different symptoms. In most cases, the root of the problem is nowhere near where the symptoms occur.
-
Over the years, Charmen has learned how to integrate the knowledge and experience of different modalities from these two practices to assist in getting to the root of the problem by applying a whole body approach. It works to restore proper mechanics and improve function in structure, musculoskeletal, visceral, nervous and circulatory systems as well as nurture emotional releases by utilizing all of the modalities when guided to, bringing the body back to its natural balance. Symptoms can be categorized similarly from one person to the next but how the symptoms evolved are very individually your own. Therefore, your treatment should be tailored specifically to what your body needs at that time. The modalities that Charmen integrates in her treatments are: Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, CranioSacral Therapy, Lensen, Semato-Emotional Release, Massage Therapy ~ Therapeutic & Deep Tissue.

Steph Le Gros has always worked at the intersection of body and mind. As a poet, yoga teacher, personal trainer, and integrative health coach, her approach to wellness is layered, thoughtful, and deeply personal.
Woven for Wellness was born from Steph’s own experience of burnout and her journey back to stillness. She created it as a space to reconnect with what’s often overlooked in our busy lives — rest, ritual, and the quiet work of self-tending.
Her philosophy is simple: wellness isn’t something you have to chase or perfect. It’s something you return to, again and again, in small, intentional ways. She doesn’t promise quick fixes. Instead, she offers tools and support to help people feel grounded, calm, and gently held. -
Everything at Woven, from the curated teas and skincare to the layout of the store itself, reflects Steph’s belief that presence matters. That softness is strength. And that the simple act of slowing down can be transformative.
Whether you visit in person or explore from afar, Steph’s hope is that Woven offers you a moment to breathe, reset, and feel at home in yourself.

Tracey has always had a passion for helping people and this, combined with a series of life events, has led her to become a Wellbeing Coach.
In early adulthood, Tracey left rural Nelson for university in Christchurch, where she grappled with the complexities of self-identity. Following the devastating Christchurch earthquakes, she relocated to Auckland, where she balanced corporate administration responsibilities with part-time psychology studies. Later experiencing burnout and returning to Nelson for a quieter life.
A pivotal moment during routine surgery sparked Tracey's journey to becoming a Wellbeing Coach. Along her path to learn how to coach, Tracey became a client herself and began to grow and heal her own mind. More recently, employing tools like Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) and NeurOptimal®, empowered Tracey in fostering her own growth and healing.
“I am passionate about providing a place for people to feel seen and heard.”
In her leisure time, Tracey volunteers within her community and finds solace in the simple pleasures of nature and walking.

Zoe is a Counsellor and full member of NZAC as well as an EMDR therapist and member of EMDRNZ. She is also a Brainspotting Practitioner and is particularly passionate about engaging with those who are seeking personal growth and expansion.
From a young age, Zoe was always trying to figure people out. Her family of origin was the perfect environment from which to begin. Having emigrated to Canada with a Scottish mother and Indian father, as a blended family of four children, Zoe was trying to figure out who she was too!
This curiosity eventually led her to study Psychology at the University of Toronto. She couldn't help but explore more, completing a double Honours degree to include Criminology and a minor in Sociology.
-
After University, Zoe worked in residential care with youths, however, she wanted to explore other countries and cultures. This led her on a wild and not always wonderful, yet enriching, adventure beginning with working on cruise ships and then onto Europe - to Turkey, The Netherlands and the UK. In London Zoe worked in Human Resources in learning and development, creating and facilitating courses.
Zoe always had a strong urge to live in the Southern Hemisphere, for some unknown reason, since age 21. Whether you want to call it divine intervention or mere chance, she met a Kiwi in the ocean in Thailand, as you do, and here she is nearly 14 years later.
Zoe’s thirst for knowledge and understanding didn't stop there. She undertook studies in Transpersonal Counselling in Melbourne and it was there that she gained the relational and therapeutic skills she was searching for.
Zoe returned to New Zealand where she joined Lincoln University's Student Health team as a counsellor, here Zoe enjoyed working with a diverse group of students for 6.5 years. The sunshine of Nelson was calling Zoe and since 2020, she has been in private practice and ACC counselling in the Nelson/Blenheim area.
